The Assistant Executive Engineer at Belagavi Urban Development Authority (BUDA) who was posted as a nodal officer at the airport to screen air travelers tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
The BUDA office and his residence have been sealed down.
The officer showed some symptoms a few days back where he was requested to go in for isolation and later his test reports tested positive on Tuesday.
The BUDA office and also the Belagavi smart city office which is housed in the same building have been closed for sanitizing purposes even when the officer had visited the office since he went for self-isolation.
If he is discharging his duties in airport then why BUDA office is sealed ?
