In Karnataka Crackers only from 8 pm to 10 pm

Supreme Court, in a modified order, has allowed southern states to burst crackers anytime in the day (for two hours) this Deepavali, Karnataka has chosen to implement the Court’s earlier verdict in toto.
Hence firecrackers can be burst only between 8 pm and 10 pm, from November 5 to 8.

In Tamil Nadu, the Government has decided on a morning slot from 6 am to 7 am and an evening slot from 7 pm to 8 pm.

In a circular dated November 2, the state government also banned the manufacture and sale of ladis. “Owing to noise pollution, air pollution and the pollution caused by the remains of the crackers after they have exploded, the state government is prohibiting the manufacture and sale of series crackers or ladis,” the circular said.

The police personnel must ensure that the court order is followed and must take action against violators. Police should also ensure that banned firecrackers are not sold.

This is nonsense. Why restrictions always on Hindu festivals??? Deepawali is a festival of lights, happiness and joy. Can anyone think of celebrating it with freedom, under a stressed environment!!!! Real nonsense… One day these ppl will control what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat, what to wear, when to wear, everything will be decided by the supreme court.

The authorities please provide us 24/7, contact numbers or police station numbers where such calls can be attended and visited the location where the rules are not followed by the residents.
In any locality where rules are not followed, such things can be complained by non tolerating neighbors and the compliment can be attended without much delay
