Two unidentified men hurled chilli powder into the eyes of a businessman near Hotel Sagar Gandhi nagar where he was waiting for his bus and fled with his bag containing 24 lakhs.
The unlucky businessman is a flower merchant from Chitradurga who was waiting for his bus to return home while this incident occurred at about mid night.
The two robbers who came on a bike also threatened him with a knife threw chilli powder and robbed him.
Belgaum is not so safe now.
