A central Study team which was here in the district to assess the flood hit region in the district also visited Congress road and saw the depleted condition of the road. Currently the Congress road is one of the worst roads in the city.
The team has been sent by the Centre following an appeal made by the State government to release funds to take up relief works in the flood-affected areas.
The team also visited Khanapur, Gokak talukas.
