Today Members of the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Belgaum District Small Scale Industries Association, along with Tax Practitioners had a meeting with State GST Department Joint Commissioner.
Al the organizations had received several complaints from Trade & Industry members stating that State GST Department is issuing notices regarding mismatch in GST Returns Related to E-way Bill Mismatch and other issues related to GST.
In this regard, a joint meeting with Joint Commissioner was held and requested the department not harass Industrial and Traders, as some of the officers are purposefully visiting the Market area and issuing notices to the traders.
The BCCI president informed them to call one joint meeting with Trade & Industrial People along with all State GST Officials at the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries to discuss and solve the issues.
