Based on the request of Belagavi MP Mangal Suresh Angadi, the Ministry of Railways has commenced a special train from Belagavi to Kollam for the convenience of pilgrims going to Sabarimala.
Train No. 07357/07358 Belagavi – Kollam – Belagavi special express (1 trip):
Train No. 07357 Belagavi – Kollam special express will leave Belagavi at 11:30 AM on November 20th and reach Kollam the next day at 03.15 PM. In the return direction, Train No. 07358 Kollam – Belagavi special express will leave Kollam at 05:10 PM on November 21st and reach Belagavi the next day at 11:00 PM.
The same was flagged off today by MP Smt Angadi in presence of Saalumarada Thimmakka noted for her work in planting and tending to 385 banyan trees along a forty-five-kilometer stretch of highway between Hulikal and Kudur.
South Western Railway has decided to run separate trains from Belagavi and Hubli for the convenience of Sabarimala pilgrims. Southwest Railway informed that a train has been arranged from both these sides to Kollam near Sabarimala.
Belagavi – Kollam train (07357/07358) will leave Belagavi at 11:30 AM on 20th November (07357). Next day (November 21) will reach Kollam at 3:15 PM. The same train (07358) has given information that it will leave Kollam on November 21 at 5:10 pm and reach Belagavi the next day (November 22) at 11 pm.
Similarly, from December 4 to January 15, Belagavi – Kollam Special Express train (07361) will depart from Belagavi every Sunday at 11:30 AM. And it will reach Kollam at 3:15 pm the next day.
Kollam – Belagavi Special Express train (07362) returning via the same route will leave Kollam every Monday at 5:10 PM from December 5 to January 16. Then it will reach Belagavi at 11 pm the next day.
