A five-year-old child was kidnapped on Sunday by a person a bike near Pai hotel at Khade Bazar. The CCTV visuals show a person on the bike taking the child away.
The incident occurred at 12.30 pm on Sunday when the five-year-old Nanappa Naik of Hukkeri taluka.
Nanappa’s mother and grandmother sell vegetables near Pai hotel Khade bazar, and as it was a Sunday Nanappa had also accompanied them. Both of them used to sit opposite each other and Nanapppa said he will go on the other side where her grandmother was seated, but he never reached there.
She then approached the police station in which the CCTV footage clearly shows a man taking the boy away on the bike.
