The City corporation Belagavi has now made a smart move and made the payment of Property tax online, yes you heard it correct; online payment using Debit card/ Credit card or net banking from its new website http://belagavicitycorp.org/
How to pay Property tax online in Belagavi
Click on Online Services
Go to “View Property details and pay online”
Enter the PID and click the search button to get Form 1 and then make payment online.
If you don’t know your PID then use search by criteria i.e. your Ward No, Old Assessment No, New Assessment No, Owner name OR Mobile No. then Click Search button you will get the property details
Click on View link to see your complete property tax details
Click on Get Form-2 OR View Tax & Pay in next page to proceed with online payment
Please download OR print acknowledgment on successful property tax online payment
We did check the site and it was working when we checked the same.
To be fair, I didn’t check to see what it offers during payment as I do not have any details handy to try, but first look doesn’t appear to have the secure protocol (HTTPS) which it should if online payments are involved. I hope I am wrong and it DOES provide a secure connection during payment.

What is the full form of PID ? where do I locate the same ? Tried accessing the property details with my ward no and name /mobile no… it says, not able to locate… search on ward no details says the same are not updated… hope they get updated soon

The link or website of Belagavi City Corporation is not secured. It’s not advisable to enter credit/debit card details and password in it. Please inform this problem to the City Corporation.

Make sure that calculated tax for some property X is same all the time for perticular year.
Ex. I tried to chk what is tax for my property located in ward no. 6. on 4th of April -2020, it was showing Rs. 1726/-
Today, when I went to pay tax online , it’s asking for Rs. 2046. Not getting what is this. Is the tax keep on changes day by day like movie tickets…

I did my payment today. Everything went fine, except that, when I printed the receipt, the name of the owner is not being printed. All other details are fine on the receipt. However the form 2 mentions everything with name of the owners etc. CC should check as to why the name of owner does not come on the receipt.
I am an ex serviceman and to that effect I have given a letter duly issued by the Director, District Sainik Welfare and Resettlement Board.As such I am eligible to get 50% exemption towards the Property Tax. This letter has been given to your office in April 2013. you were giving 50% rebate from that year. But to my surprise this 50% EXEMPTION has not been given for this Acct year. once u click View and pay tax in the next pop window next to Pay online button there is download button u have to click that
I tried paying online.The system does not reflect 5% rebate available till 31-05-2020.Can you check and set this right.
Last year also the same problem was there and I did not get the 5% rebate eventhough the payment was done 20/04/2019. if that rebate also get reflected and reduce the demand this year to that effect,it will be great. My PID no. 104324.
I also tried to put this request through CONTACT available on your site. But it does not accept the request giving an error message regarding mobile no.,eventhough correct 10 digit mobile no. is entered. You amy look into this also

If u have downloaded the PDF file see Sl.no 35 that’s your 5% rebate. its is not on the total tax but on the select heads
