The new airport terminal at Sambra was recently inaugurated but the farmers who gave their land are yet to get their compensation awarded by the court. Farmers approached the court again asking the court to get their dues, and hence the court has ordered the Assistant commissioner office to be seized as they have not paid the dues of the farmers.
CM then had promised that he will look into the matter and release the payment but as nothing has moved forward the Farmers were again forced to go to court to get their dues.
On September 26, 2016 the court had ordered the compensation to be paid withing one month from the date of order but until now no payment has been done of the 190 acres of land heard in this particular case.
