The Deputy Commissioner’s office compound has a lot of open space but is unutilized. Now the entire area has been made encroachment free and today Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil and DCP Ravindra Gadadi surveyed the entire DC compound to chalk out a plan for better utilisation of the empty space.
As per the plan, there will be a dedicated protest site that can hold multiple protests at one time along with a dedicated marked parking facility with a small food court.
Traffic jams due to haphazard parking are nothing new for the commuters who use the compound, now if the parking site is provided and which is most likely to be paid to park there will be some discipline.
A dedicated protest site for multiple protests will also help as most of the time the Chennamma circle is blocked and due to that heavy traffic jams happen even if 20 or more persons protest.
Now the DC has laid out this plan and the same will be discussed and implemented in the coming days.
