In some positive vibes, DC N Jayram today declined to give permission to the Hutatma Circle Ganesh utsav mandal to cut 2 trees at the circle in which place the mandal wanted to set up the Ganesh Pandal.
Today the Auto drivers association from the circle along with the members of the mandal met the DC in which the DC said that he was against cutting the trees there and he would arrnage for a different place for the setting up of the Ganesh Idol.
Earlier the auto drivers, shop owners and the Ganesh Mandal in a mutual understanding have decided that a tree would be chopped off to make way for the Hutatma Circle Ganesh pandal. The police booth there would also be removed.
It may be recalled that the Auto drivers who have an auto stand there had demanded that the Tree be saved as it gives shade to them.
The Ganesh Utsav mandal which used to have its pandal there, is now occupied by the Bara Ghadghadya well. Hence this issue for space had come to the forefront.
Very good decision by the Authority.
Better these people put these efforts to something useful for the society.
Indeed a good decision by DC, we should all thank him for such a eco friendly move
