With the onset of rains on Tuesday evening, Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil with Municipal Commissioner Rudresh Ghali along with Municipal Corporation officials conducted an inspection tour of the city area after 9 pm.
Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil along with Municipal Commissioner Rudresh Ghali, Lakshmi Nippanikar, Health Officer Sanjay Dhumgol and other officials of the Corporation visited Piranwadi Cross, Old PB Road, Khasbagh, KLE Hospital Road, and the city premises from 9 pm to 11:30 pm walking around and gathering information.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the Municipal Commissioner to remove the garbage dumps in the central part of the city. Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil directed the Corporation officials to immediately act and get the stormwater drains cleaned in the low-lying areas as well.
