The Dharwad road which was taken up for widening somewhere in 2009, and then later came to stand still after protests and also as many say due to building of an elected representative.
But, now again new markings have been done according to CDP plan of 120 feet and the said road would be 120 feet.
Currently the road is 60 feet and in some places 66 feet. With the new markings notices have been given to the occupants until Monday. Work on widening will commence from Monday sources said.
Once complete the road from CBT to NH4 would be easily connected. Now from the railway gate this road funnels to 60 feet and later after Khasbag cross again it is already widened.
