Diamond Crockery store in Ganpat Galli was turned into ashes this afternoon after it caught fire. The loss has been reported in lakhs.
Local youths helped fire brigade personnel to extinguish the fire and while doing the same two youths were injured as the roof on which they were standing on the shop top besides the building which was on fire, broke and they collapsed.
The police faced tough time to control the crowd, with only two constables were handling the traffic. There was a huge gathering of onlookers which caused more traffic issues. The police also had to resort to very mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd.
