The School was established on 1st June 1922 after receiving the permanent recognition by the Office of Public Instruction Bengaluru, from then on following the vision of the Foundress St Magdalene of Cannosa. We the canossiansisters and staff have worked tirelessly to cater to the neediest of the society and the result is what we see today, a unique institute standing tall in the city of Belagavi.
Divine Providence Convent High School with such a glorious history is celebrating the Centenary through a grand Opening Ceremony on Tuesday the 23rd of November 2021, at JNMC’s Jirge Auditorium at 5.00p.m as it completes 100 years of fruitful service to the society in the field of education.

Following on, my AlmaMater St. Paul’s High School.Camp Belagavi( Old Belgaum)[165 years to the good} and Adjoining Girl’s- St. Joseph’s Convent Girls High School(over 125 years). this Divine Providence Convent High School located in the (then remote)Goa Ves area off Tilak wadi, Belagavi(Old Belgaum) Deserves Best of CONGRATS and Hearty Felicitations for achieving this milestone of 100 years of her functioning.
