It was a day of prayers, feasting and togetherness on Monday as Muslims celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr, which falls on the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwalwas, marks the end of the period of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
The traditional greeting of “Eid Mubarak” echoed all around.
Prayers were offered in the morning at the Idgah grounds in which the DC Anubukumar and SP Sandeep Patil also participated.
