In Belagavi, the landscape of journalism has expanded with the establishment of the ‘Digital News Association,’ Belagavi marking a significant milestone as the third official association of its kind in the nation. The inauguration ceremony took place recently at Hotel Sankam, heralding a new era for digital media journalism in the city.
The event saw the esteemed presence of Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar and Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sheth, who graced the occasion as chief guests. The inauguration commenced with a symbolic gesture of adding water to a tree sapling by the dignitaries, followed by the reading of the Preamble of the Constitution of India.
