Fake makeup of the city for VVIP only- now Street lights, Flag go off

It is nothing new in this country when the city gets a facelift only when there is a VVIP arrival. Belagavi hosted the 10 day Winter session and for the same, street lights which never illuminated for more than a couple of years suddenly were glowing up.

The National Flag near Kote Kere was up, the third gate patch which was in dire straits was also done along with many such developments.

But now after the session is over so is the makeup, the National Flag hasn’t been hoisted again but for those 10 days, it was fluttering in glory.

The street lights are also off, see the KLE hospital road for that matter, now no lights illuminate but during the 10 days session all were working.

The Winter session is over and all the street lamps on KLE hospital road don’t illuminate. They are just throwing dust in the eyes of people in name of development VDO:

True, even after voting to bring a majority, citizens never see the candidate.. Voting in the name of a party brings such situations where they neglect our voices and we have to just listen to their voice and say “chalta hai”

One more Twitter user said – Name sake MLA he is a master of playing politics. He just wants to rule in Belagavi. Remember he had fought with ex mayor when he had complained about these things in front of PWD minister. He has not given authority to elected corporators.

The city gets a holy bath only when we have a VIP to visit. Why is this? Why is the administration treat us common citizens like untouchables?

We pay the taxes but we don’t get anything in return, but when it comes to the VIP’s they get special treatment on the same Tax money we have paid.

They have their own privileges and what about the Common man?

Taxpayers’ money is spent only for VIP’s and the common man suffers who pays the taxes and gets nothing in return which is his RIGHT. Shame! Shame! Shame!
