Star Air on its website has announced, Fly Belagavi to Ahmedabad soon on Star Air. The date of launch is however not announced.
Currently, Star Air is operating one flight to Bengaluru and what it looks from the schedule, the Ahmedabad flight could commence on May 1, as the flight timings to Belagavi change from May 1.
This flight to Ahmedabad is under UDAN 3.0 under which Belagavi was alloted 13 routes.
Spicejet would start its direct flight to Hyderabad from May 1 which is also under UDAN.
So we can say by May 1, two of the 13 routes allocated under UDAN will be operational.

- Belagavi to Jodhpur – Ghodawat (Star Air)
- Belagavi to Jaipur – Ghodawat (Star Air)
- Belagavi to Ahmedabad – Ghodawat (Star Air)
- Belagavi to Ozar (Nasik) – Ghodawat (Star Air)

Now Trujet which has FOUR routes has to announce its date along with Alliance Air for Pune.
I hope RTC buses are offering services to CBT at the flight arrivals and departures. Else people will be ripped-off by cabs and auto rickshaw personnel.
Concern is about the most awaited Mumbai and Pune routes. Why are they not starting those routes ?

Awesome news khudos, and for Hyderabad other 2 flight must also come up ASAP. Please try to connect it with Goa the prices can be reduced and there would be much connectivity to belgaum. And the flight from other cities to bgm must have evening timing s after 7pm as it would be helpful for people working they can work that day or half day n catch the flight.as well bus connectivity hope the belgaum government takes the initiative
Popular destinations like Bangalore, Mumbai ,Pine and Goa must start asap.
IXG-AMD route may not get large no.of passangers
Please start IXG-AMD asap, as there r no.of passengers who wants to travel to ahmedabad,mount abu or jodhpur..etc I think many people r waiting for this flight in belagavi. hope starair will start this flight soon..??
