Belagavi airport is lucky to have TWO FTO – Flying Training Organizations sanctioned.
One FTO to M/S Samvardhane Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru, and the other to M/S Red Bird Flying Training Institute, Delhi.
The work for the same is in full swing at the Belagavi airport.
The Link Taxi Track completed by AAI has been completed & Markings will be completed before 30th April.
As per sources the FTO could start functioning from June 2022.
The establishing of the Flying Training Organizations (FTOs) will be on Design, Build, Operate, Maintain and Transfer Basis (DBOMT).

The traffic on this road is increasing by the day. Vehicles speed on it as if it is a freeway unmindful of the roads connecting to this NARROW highway, the school etc.. Trucks are parked at evey turning making things difficult for ordinary citizens… Hope something is done to improve…
