Son of former Legislator Parshuram Nandihalli was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Dhamne village around 11.30 PM on Tuesday.
Arun Nandihalli who was returning from Dhamne village, he was stopped at Dhamne Yellur road by men who shot at him.
Passersby shifted to the hospital but the doctor’s said he was brought dead.
Police said villagers have given clues that a few men had come to Dhamne village and asked for the in-law’s house of Arun.
The police suspect financial matter to be responsible for this act.
