Deputy Commissioner R. Venkatesh Kumar has mandated that all participants in the session, legislators, officers, security personnel, spectators and media persons, need to be vaccinated and carry a fresh RT-PCR test negative certificate.
The Winter legislature session will begin at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha Belagavi from Monday and the entire administration is busy making the arrangements from the same.
The RT-PCR report generated 72 hours prior to the start of the winter session will suffice for the entire session, said Mr. Muniyal, district health officer (DHO).
Deputy Commissioner R. Venkatesh Kumar said “All who participate must furnish a negative RT-PCR test report that is not older than 72 hours and also furnish double-dose vaccination certificates.” He said he has directed them to administer vaccines to those who are yet to receive the second dose.
Special arrangements have been made for protests as well with 2 designated spaces reserved for them, even where Covid appropriate behavior will have to follow.
About 1700 rooms in the hotels have been booked for the session.
