Harmanmeet Singh Reem tops in Belagavi – 10th CBSE

Harmanmeet Singh Reem, student of Good Shepherd Central School, Belagavi has secured the first rank in Belagavi in the 10th CBSE results that were declared today. Hermanmeet is the son of Col Harmeet Singh and Mrs Harveen Reen., principal of Army Primary School, Belgaum. He has scored 100 out of 100 in social studies, 97 in English, 98 in Hindi, 98 in Maths, 97 in Science.

My dad who is serving the nation at the border is my inspiration and my mother is my guide, however, I am grateful to the staff members of my school, due to whom I could succeed,” a delighted Harmanmeet said. Asked about his career he said that like his dad he too would like to join the Indian Army and serve the nation.

gscs_topperIncidentally, Col Harmeet Singh who is now posted at Kupwara border as commanding officer of the Rahstriya Rifle Battalion and is in Belagavi on a short visit.

Meanwhile, Soham Balekundri (96%) and Vaishnavi Santoji (94.80) of Good Shepherd school have also excelled.

Giving further details principal of the school Mrs Sheetal Kamat said that the school has secured 100 percent results in the CBSE Board Examinations out which five students have scored above 90 percent while 12 students have scored above 80 percent. In all 31 students from the school appeared for the examinations this year, she said.

Chairman of the Good Shepherd Central School and Love Dale PU College Sham Ghatge has congratulated the students and said that the efforts of the management and the staff have made it possible.
