The elections of the Belagavi city Corporation was due in Jan-Feb 2019, but now the same has been deferred by the High Court after its order today.
In this writ petition by Dhanraj Gavali, Bhairagouda Patil & 8 others are the Petitioners had taken objection on the ward delimitation and also the reservation for the wards.
Hon’ble Mr Justice R Devdas (Kar H C, Dharwad Bench)passed an order – Corporation not to proceed further and not to declare the Calendar of events & further directed to file an objection on behalf of the Govt.
Now the Corporation will have to reply to the said petition.
