The number of COVID cases is seeing a decline but as many a 13 homes were sealed down on Saturday.
As per the earlier norms if more than 5 persons in a building were positive that building used to be declared as a micro containment zone and sealed.
But now the Corporation commissioner has decided that if any building has more than 2 positive patients in a home the same would be sealed.
On Saturday such a drive was carried out at Bhavani Nagar, Rani Chennamma Nagar, Kaveri Nagar, Bhagya Nagar, Somwar Peth, Guru Prasad colony, Madoli Road, Agarkar road.
In an apartment in Agarkar road- Roy road, in flat as many 7 people were found positive.
The health officials visited the apartment and tested all the members of the apartment.
