From January 25, 2012 wearing of Helmets by the rider of two wheelers is compulsory. The sale of helmets has picked up and ISI marked helmets can be bought in the range of Rs.600 to Rs.2000.
Also one will find the Delhi made helmets as they are called on the streets like Khanapur road, Ambedkar Road where the prices start from Rs.150 to Rs.400.

I am still trying to discover where exactly helmets should be worn? Only on major roads like from Belgaum to Khanapur, etc? Or at all times in all locations?
And is this a new Belgaum law? Or new to Karnataka? Or all of India?
