Satish L. Jarkiholi, who resigned as Excise Minister, stayed back at home and did not meet the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday.
He is now expected to meet the Chief Minister on Friday. There were a series of deliberations held at Mla Feroz Sait’s residence yesterday, but nothing could be resolved.
The differences were on need for more funds for expeditious development of the district and not personal. The Congress is making efforts to resolve the issue of change of Mr. Jarkiholi’s portfolio.
