Basappa Bajantri, head constable of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and a native of Bailur village was killed in a terrorist attack at Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Bajantri was deployed in a sensitive area in Srinagar in view of the by-elections.
Two civillains and another 5 CRPF jawans were also injured in the attack at Pantha chowk area on Monday.
The mortal remains of Bajantri is expected to reach Bailur on Tuesday night and the funeral will be held on Wednesday.
