The Karnataka Bandh, called by various organizations, witnessed a subdued response in Belagavi on Saturday morning. Daily life and transportation remained largely unaffected.
Public transport operated as usual, with buses running from the central bus stand to various destinations across the state. However, bus services between Belagavi and Maharashtra were suspended as a precautionary measure. Despite the bandh call, vehicular movement on city roads remained normal, with no major disruptions reported.

Authorities had tightened security at key locations, including the central bus stand and Rani Chennamma Circle, to prevent any untoward incidents. A group of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Shivaram Gowda faction) members staged a protest near the central bus stand in support of the bandh.
Business establishments and commercial activities functioned normally, with most shops and offices remaining open. No major incidents of forceful closure or disruptions were reported.
