Karnataka Board Exams: High court order Board exams to Happen

Karnataka High Court to pronounced its order on the appeal filed by the state government challenging a single judge bench order which quashed its decision to hold Board Exams for students of Classes 5, 8, 9, and 11, of the schools affiliated to the State Board.

A division bench of Justice K Somashekhar and Justice Rajesh Rai K to pronounced the order.

Karnataka High Court holds Karnataka government’s decision to hold Board Exams for classes 5,8, 9 and 11 as VALID. State appeals allowed. Single judge decision set aside.

Court permits the Karnataka State government to resume holding exams for classes 5, 8, 9, 11 which was stalled following a March 12 Supreme Court stay order.

Now the Education department will have to issue the new Time table for the exams.
