Posh Co Ltd, Korea along with its partners Khaga Energy and Variate made a presentation to MLA Anil Benake at his office in Chavat Galli today about setting up of a 300 TPD waste to energy plant for municipal solid waste in Belagavi.
Mayor Chikaldani was also present along with officials from the city corporation.
Speaking on the occasion MLA said, The city needs a systemic waste management and power generation is required. We have to get rid of the open land fills and hence such projects will help us in reducing the land fill.
A positive step towards making Belgam a smart city.
