The dream project of Abhay Patil which he had started 6 years ago, has been standing strong as it is for the past 6 years and now that Mr. Patil has been re-elected as MLA, he has promised that the Shiv Shrusti would be completed and opened for public before this Deepawali.
MLA Patil visited Pune and saw the progress of the sound and lights show at Pingale audio systems, Pune who are doing it.
Digital Art India, Pune will visit the site here in Belagavi and decide on the final structure and what all needs to repaired will be accessed.
Work started in November 2012 by the BUDA
Work should have been completed by April 2013
Work is still incomplete, most of the installations have lost their sheen and will have to be remade
The work stopped, the laser fountain, sound system everything was in place by October 2013, but the project was delayed, for reasons only known to BUDA as it is doing the said project. In June 2016 a new tender was floated by BUDA to repair this unused laser fountain but it got no bidders and still nothing is moving forward for this.
The project has been on the stand still for over 6 years due to the apathy of the BUDA and also the elected representatives.
