The Belgaum Bar association today protested in-front of the houses of the MLA, District incharge ministers and also at Chennamma circle making their demand heard for the formation of KAT (Karnataka Administrative Tribunal) in Belgaum.
It has been a long pending demand by the Belgaum bar association that the KAT be established here in Belgaum as the High court bench has been already set up at Dharwad.
Sources say that the state government also wants the KAT to be in Dharwad. As Belgaum is considered as the second capital KAT must be established here in Belgaum is the call by the Belgaum bar association.
Lawyers staged a dharna infront of the house of MLA Feroz Sait and also Satish Jarkhiholi.
