The social media has a good side and at the moment, it is shining. Netizens are coming together to help people and small businesses that are facing difficulties due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. After the Baba ka Dhaba success many such stories have happened in each city.
In Belagavi as well there are many such Baba’s and Kaka’s and Belgaum Foodies just shared this story.
Kaka mangalwar sutti illa? we asked him as most of the shops around were closed being a weekly off. He said we had to close for 5 months bcoz of the pandemic and he cannot afford to close even for a single day now as it has badly affected his livelihood.
Dear Belgaumites, here we present to you perhaps the best alepak we ever had. With no kanjusi in adding the necessary ingredients required to make a perfect alepak, be it ground nuts, dried coconut, rock salt, ginger, coriander leaves and not to miss those yummy (and big) alepak ladoos.
Speaking about taste, we already mentioned this was the best alepak we ever had. Kaka mixed poha and shenga alepak, crushed two ladoos in it and by the time he was squeezing the lemon juice in the mixture our mouth already started watering. We swear, we are not exaggerating.
Kaka does all the preparations since morning and he is available from 4 pm to 9 pm.
Address opposite to Jain temple Sheri galli Near Shani Mandir.
At age 72, kaka is an inspiration to many. His friendly behavior with customers has made him everyone’s favorite in the vicinity. This is the only source of income for his family and we request Belgaumites to support him wholeheartedly.
Great Initiative. Shall make it a point to visit him soon. Need all our support.
