Early morning the Lokayukta police under SP P.A. Balankar raided various premises of MLA Belgaum South Abhay Patil.
The SP(L) has to submit a detailed report to the court by December 28 to the Lokayukta court after Sujit Mulgund an activist had filed a 19 page complaint with the Lokayukta court with the complaint alleging bribery, land grab and false declaration in affidavits filed while filing nomination papers in 2004 and 2008.
Lokyukta raided Patil Rice mill, his house and other residential and oficial premmies of his families and relatives.
The details of the raid however were not divulged and report would be submitted to the court.
