Mahesh Jadhav was honored with the prestigious “Badlaav Humse Hai” award in Mumbai, presented by esteemed Padmashri Awardee Social Worker Dr. Prakash Amte, Actress Dia Mirza, and Executive Editor of Network18 Latha Venkatesh. The award was a recognition of Jadhav’s exemplary services towards the care of HIV-positive children and was presented by one of India’s leading media channels.

Badlaav Humse Hai, a one-of-a-kind initiative by Network18 and AU Small Finance Bank, features the journeys of 20 changemakers, who have been walking on a new path towards effective humanitarian service and making a significant difference in the lives of individuals and communities in India.

In the course of six months, the teams visited different corners of the country covering stories of changemakers who are working relentlessly in uplifting the lives of the vulnerable and marginalised sections of society. From education to employment, providing free medical aid to empowering people with self-sustainable initiatives, the campaign brings to light some of the most pertinent societal issues persisting in the community.
