The district administration gave permission at 11pm for the said Marathi Convention. Maharashtra Ekikaran Samithi has been organising a “parallel convention” each time the session is held in the city. Heavy police bandobast has been deployed near the venue. The convention would commence at 11 am sources said.

The Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti has urged the Supreme Court to deliver an early verdict in the boundary dispute case to ensure “justice” for the Marathi- speaking people in the boundary areas of Karnataka. In another resolution, the MES demanded that the National Human Rights Commission to take cognisance of the police atrocities on Marathi-speaking residents of Yellur village of Belagavi taluk following removal of a name board there last year.

@kalagouda: It is easy to sit back and comment. AAB team has been doing what it has been doing admirably for a long time. They have been fair and balanced in their coverage of the news. Going by your name, easy to see you itch where the sun doesn’t shine, every time MES/Marathi is mentioned. Grow up and come out of your juvenile mentality.

    Dear Editor,

I believe your comments doesn’t suits your profession/Hobby/Passion of News sharing (AAB), please understand AAB is growing widely in terms of viewers, you cannot keep on replying to every comments on your website that too with immature lines like “Then why dont u fund me.. Just dont comment for the self of commenting. You have proof to show MES has funded Show me that I will close AAB.”

Please try to understand AAB is not a personal website anymore its more like a social platform where people get updated whats happening in and around belgaum, there might be some viewers who may like and who may dislike articles/news. Being an editor you need to face these comments and if you keep replying and commenting i personally believe topic gets influenced, you please keep posting news and let people comment. please grow up professionally and don’t be in haste in reacting and replying to comments, as an editor its not your dues to do so, you just make sure what ever news or articles are put on website they are true and authenticated to your best knowledge.

These are my personal views and Fan of AAB, as i am follower of AAB since its inception days

People, rather than commenting who is funding AAB, ask Karnataka ministers to start funding north karnataka and get some development over here.
