jainMinister for Youth Services and Sports Abhayachandra Jain said that an indoor stadium would be built at a cost Rs.6.25 crores in Belgaum. He also asked the district administration to speak with KLE society to get the lease of the District stadium extended beyond the current period of 2026 and Rs.6 lakhs are spent there for maintenance. While asking for a vehicle to pick him from the bus depot, he advised the Deputy Commissioner to not send an escort.
