Mother along with children commits suicide by jumping into Argan Talav

A woman along with her young children committed suicide by jumping into Argan Lake on Belagavi-Vengurla Road this afternoon. The body of one child along with a woman has been found and the search for another child is on.

The body of the woman and one child has been recovered as of now and the police are searching for the body of the second child.

According to the information received, the name of the woman who committed suicide by jumping into Argan talav is Krisha Manish Keshvani (age 36), resident of Sahyadri Nagar, children were said to be 4 and 7 years old.

The exact reason for the suicide is unclear.

Camp police inspector Prabhakar Dharmatti and his colleagues rushed to the spot as soon as they came to know about the incident. The bodies were recovered with the help of fire brigade and divers.
