Munish Moudgil will be new DC of Belgaum

Shri Munish Moudgil will take charge as new DC of Belgaum from tomorrow. He is replacing N Jayram who was recently made the DC.

These transfers are as per the guidelines of the Election commission so that there is a free and fair elections.

He is a 1998 cadre IAS officer and has served in Bangalore, Bellary, Karwar earlier. Mr.Moudgil is said to be a dashing officer and had taken some serious decision against the mining lobby in Bellary.

He is an IIT Bombay graduate, He was currently Addl Mission Director, Sakala Mission & Director, NREGA, Karnataka.
