New airport terminal at Belagavi airport to be commissioned on Oct 16

It will be a Historical day for Belagavi city as well as in the history of Airports Authority of India,as AAI will Commission the New Terminal Building and New Apron on 16-10-2017.

All flight operations will be started from the new building and all schedule flights will be parked in the New Apron.

Today,15-10-2017 ,last flight operated from existing Building and then after everything will be shifted to the new one .

New building and Apron have been cleared all the approvals from the BCAS and DGCA, it means new terminal building is fully equipped with security infrastructure and security gadgets. Further, new building is not only secure but also safe as it is also got the DGCA approval.

Recently, Security Directorate, southern region, AAI and Regional Director, BCAS, Hyderabad inspected the New Terminal and whole Belagavi Airport from the security point of view and they appreciated the effort and pain taken by the AAI in creating the safe and secure Airport.

All the modern security equipment’s and facilities are provided at Belagavi Airport.

Lot of activities are planned for the commissioning of the New Terminal Building-

Local music and dance performance by Aptech aviation hospitality academy, Poddar International school and Jain Heritage school since morning to the late evening.

Beautiful Rangoli by the Aptech aviation hospitality academy and Aptech aviation hospitality academy in the arrival and departure hall by colors and flowers

Water salute will be given to the first Flight which is coming at 9.00 hours.

In future, there are more chances of more new flights as other Airlines are interested to come at Belagavi. New Hanger has also been planned.

The New Terminal Building is the good combination of ART and TECHNOLOGY.
