On Sunday evening, Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy paid a surprise visit to the Belagavi Central bus station to inspect its infrastructure. During his visit, he announced that the North West Road Transport Corporation has received approval to purchase 4,000 new buses. This is great news for the Belagavi section, as more new buses will be provided to improve transportation in the area.
Minister Reddy also shared that the construction work of the city bus stand is currently in progress and is expected to be completed in six months at a cost of Rs 49 crore. He believes that separating the city transport will make the bus station more convenient for commuters.
This is a significant step towards improving the transportation system in Belagavi.
With the addition of new buses and the completion of the city bus stand, residents can look forward to a more efficient and comfortable commuting experience.
