The Belagavi City corporation has floated tenders for construction of Meeting Hall in New City Corporation Building at Subhash Nagar, Belagavi at an estimated cost of Rs.9,93,014. This would be built next to the existing building.
Also the council hall would be renovated to make it acoustically better by providing roofing with rock wool sandwich panel to absorb sound for Council Hall at an estimated cost of Rs.13,92,000.
The council hall has always had problems of a leaking roof and also acoustic issues where the voice of the speaker was not heard, after this make over at-least we hope that the voice of the people would be heard and acted upon.
