The newly elected office-bearers of the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce & Industries took over their charge recently.
On Thursday 7th October 2021 Belgaum Chamber of Commerce & Industries handover function was conducted at Belgaum Foundry Cluster, Udyambag Belgaum
On this occasion Shri. Abhay Patil, MLA Belagavi South was the Chief Guest & Shri Jayant Humberwadi, MD Ashok Iron Group was the Guest of Honor.
Shri. Kiran Agadi outgoing Secretary Briefed the activities and events conducted during 2019-20.
Past President Shri. Shridhar Uppin welcomed the newly elected President Shri. Rohan Juvali and briefed about His journey towards Social activities.
Installation of Newly elected President & Office Bearers for the year 2021-22 done by the Hands of Shri. Abhay Patil, MLA Belagavi South & Shri. Jayant Humberwadi, MD, Ashok Iron Group & Outgoing President Shri Panchakshri Chonnad Handed over the Charge to newly elected President Shri Rohan Juvali.
On this occasion, President Shri Rohan Juvali thanked all the members for giving an opportunity to serve the Trade & Industries as a President and also briefed them about the visions for the year 2021-22.
a) To Conduct a Mega Trade Fair at CPEd Ground in the Month of January 2022.
b) To Conduct Taluka wise meeting
c) To Organise a meeting with all district Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
d) Requested to Shri Abhay Patil, MLA Belagavi South to focus on upcoming new Big Industries to be established in Belagavi because for so many years Belagavi is neglecting. If any new projects come, that will shift to either Hubli of Bangalore / Mysore.
e) Major Export Hub to Establish in Belagavi as we are the Major Exporters in Belagavi after Bangalore.
He also added that for the last 50 years Udyambag Industrial estate Infrastructure Problems were not resolved but in the last few months only Street Lights were installed and Cement Road work also started by the worth of Rs 56 Corers for this on behalf of all the Team Members he thanked him for the same.
Shri Abhay Patil, MLA Belagavi South Congratulate all the newly elected office-bearers of Belgaum Chamber of Commerce & Industries and wished him good success in their tenure, he also said that if all BCCI, Small Scale Industries, Foundry Cluster, and other associations come together then we can develop our Industrial areas. And I assure you in the coming days we will try to establish new big Industries in Belagavi from this all SME’s will be benefited. He also said that we are trying to establish new Industrial estates but due to some technical problems it was pending. Also forcing the IT Sector to be started at Belagavi for this we have identified the Land also.
