New restrictions- max 100 persons for marriages

Karnataka notifies new restrictions to contain Covid-19.

On April 16 new set of guidelines have been issued which have curtailed the number of persons attending public events

Maximum 200 (earlier 500) allowed at outdoor marriage ceremonies and 100 at indoor halls;

Marriages –
Outdoor- 200 persons
Indoor – 100 persons

Birthday –
Outdoor- 50 persons
Indoor – 25 persons

Death
Outdoor- 50 persons
Indoor – 25 persons

Cremation/Burial –
25 persons

Other functions – 50 Persons

Religious functions – Banned

Political Rallies- 200 persons outdoors
