In an RTI reply from the ESIC labor Ministry New Delhi, there is no proposal of ESIC hospital at Udyambag Belagavi nor any plans of handing over of existing ESIS hospital 2 ESIC.

Q- Provide information on whether do you propose to sanction a new ESIC HOSPITAL TO Udyambag at BELAGAVI in Karnataka.
Reply – No proposal has been received by RD, Karnataka/ State Govt. of Karnataka for setting up of new ESIC hospital at Udyambag, Belagavi, Karnataka.
Q-Provide information do you have proposal to take over ESIS hospitals of Hubli, Belagavi & Davangere in karnataka to ESIC.
Reply – At present, proposal to take over ESIS hospitals of Hubli, Belagavi & Davangere in Karnataka by ESIC is not under consideration.
Q- Provide information new sanctioned ESIC hospital at Shimoga in karnataka will be run by ESIS or ESIC and Provide tender details name & date of completion approved by esic for construction of hospital.
Reply – The new sanctioned ESIC hospital at Shivamogga in Karnataka will be run by State Government.
