In what seems to be the rush to the elections, the Sakal has made a story quoting Member of Parliament Suresh Angadi, “ No tender has been yet called for the development of the Belagavi Railway station as yet. But very soon the tender will be floated.” The foundation stone was laid on Feb 28, 2019.
It has been over 45 days that the foundation stone was laid for the Third Railway gate RoB but work has not commenced there as well.
Angadi said that the administration has to take the call as to when to begin the work.
With regards to the station development which includes the construction of a new building, as no tender has been floated yet, nothing is certain as to when the actual work would commence, it may take anywhere from 4-9 months for the entire process.
So it is very clear from this that the foundation stone ceremony was done as an eyewash for the citizens to claim works have been commenced during ones tenure.
This guy will stoop to any level. Shame. BJP if you give this guy ticket again free seat for Congress.
