Now fly to Pune from May 15 by Alliance air

Alliance Air, the regional arm of national carrier Air India, Wednesday said it will start flight operations from Belagavi to Pune and Bengaluru with flights six-days per week, effective May 15.

The new services are being introduced under the Central government’s regional connectivity scheme, Udan, Alliance Air said in a release.

The services on both the routes will be catered by a 72-seater ATR. According to the release, flight 9I-513 will depart from Bangalore at 2.15 pm and arrive at Belagavi (Karnataka) at 3.40 pm from where it will depart at 4.05 pm and arrive at Pune at 5.20 pm.

alliance-ATRIts Pune flight 9I 514 will depart for Belagavi at 5.45 pm and arrive there at 7.05 pm, it said adding it will depart from Belagavi at 7.30 pm and arrive in Bangalore at 9.10 pm on all days except Tuesday.

Alliance Air has so far launched services on 29 regional routes under the Udan scheme, since its launch in April 2017, the release said.

  3. Nice to see UDAN 3 taking off slow but steady.Now connection of Pune with Belagavi city will help a lot for students & academics ,as both the cities are educational hubs.It will help business community too as well as Belagavites in general.
    Now,the onus lies with the district administration to provide good connecting shuttle bus services between the airport and the Belagavi city for the commuters.
    Hope ,other cities including Tirupati will be connected soon.
    Good wishes to the Belagavi airport authorities and the airlines.

    Suggestion on DELHI route…. Better Flight should start from 1) CHENNAI/COIMBATORE-BELAGAVI-DELHI or
    2) GOA-BELAGAVI-DELHI or 3)MANGALORE-BELAGAVI-DELHI or 4)BELAGAVI-MUMBAI-DELHI or 5)BENGALURU /MYSORE-BELAGAVI-DELHI or 6)TIRUPATI-BELAGAVI-DELHI….!!!!!

  5. Good news & a Very Good job done by the AAI and Belgaum local airport authories & administrators. Its very good to see that (UDAN 3) taking off slow but steady…..

    From 15th May connecting Pune with Belagavi city will help the commuters a lot for students & academics, as both the cities are educational hubs.

    Secondly, It is also very helpful for businessmen, traders, polititians, tourists too as well as Belagavites in general. Belgaum people are in good hope that, other cities will also be getting connected to Belgaum in the future. (Connecting flights with multiple cities)

    Now the role is of district administration to provide good connecting shuttle bus services between the airport and the Belagaum city for the commuters as per the flight schedules.

    GOOD opportunity for Belgaumites….to fly in the SKY……

  6. Amazing! I was thinking about a flight to Pune from Belagavi a day before read this news. Really very happy to see connecting Belagavi to more cities. Hope to see coming more in future…..
