The Central government on Saturday directed all states to follow the Unlock 3.0 guidelines and allow such movement without any separate permission or permit.
The same will be implemented at the Kognoli toll near Nippani from mid night of 23 Aug, that’s from tomorrow it’s bye bye to epass, reports the Pudhari daily quoting the Tahshildar Nippani.
A letter by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla to all Chief Secretaries draws their attention to “para 5 of Unlock 3.0 guidelines”, which states that there will be no restrictions on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods.
Since March all the border points in the state has a special setup to check the entry into the state. The same has now been removed and anyone can travel to the state or go to other states without the need of any epass.
In unlock three guidelines Ministry of Home Affairs has specifically mentioned that there shall be no restrictions on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods. It is done to restart the economy more effectively.
Other check posts in the state will also cease to exist from mid night.
