Shrikant Ambolkar of Waghavde village aged 60 years was viciously murdered by a gang of four members over a land dispute on Sunday evening.
Accused identified as Vitthal Yellebalkar, Sagar Yellebalkar, Yallappa Yellebalkar and Bhutnath Yellebalkar are said to be absconding.
The incident occurred around 3.30 pm when Ambolkar was working in his field which was adjacent to the one of the accused. Earlier as there were some clashed between the two families. This began with a bickering and atlast turned violent in which Ambolkar was killed with sickle.
A case has been registered at Belgaum Rural Police Station.
